THE ARTIST
Elaine Hillerström (b1974) lives and creates in Sweden. With a background in the transport and building industry she´ve been traveling a lot during twenty years and met a lot of people in different cultures and countries. All inspiring her art. She is a educated economist, occupational-, health- and security expert as well as body therapist and coach.
Art has always been in her blood with a long line of artist relatives back to the royal court painter in the 18th century.
Elaine paints with feelings in a unique and personal way, capturing her surroundings sending messages through the humanity aspect.
"When the observer can be captivated by my paintings, meaby changing their minds and feel something different than they usually do, then my message come through. Sometimes I hide something in the eyes, forests or surroundings or something else, in my paintings - to make you look, think and get food for thoughts to be able to get forward in a different mindset and humanity."

For Elaine it´s more about communicating with a picture, thought or feeling to make us think deeper and healthier.
Some have described Hillerströms paintings as symbolic for your inner heart and inner journeys, to look deeper inside your soul. Art critic Stig Åke Stålnacke, member of AICA International Association of Art Critics, summaries her art:
"The inner journeys are perhaps the most important. But the word travel can mean something more, it can mean to rise up. As in rise up again. To be able to take one more step, one more day. Or sometimes it might be about getting up and going, moving on and leaving the destructive and finding paths to the new. Because that´s how life can be sometimes. ..the images feel refreshing and hopeful, it is a kind of art that stand in the service of love. ..thank you, Elaine Linnea Hillerström for allowing me to be a scout in your world!"
HEArt - HILLERSTROM ELAINE Art
During 2023 Hillerström made a Swedish art tour including lectures with her art series Strong woman that was seen by over 1 million people from north to south. In 2024 she continued with Strong men. Elaine has also been invited and exhibited her art in Bryssel - Belgium 2023, New York - USA, Monaco - France and at the prestigious Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, France 2024. She has been recognized as an international artist by the museum with a unique artist code in their archives. She has also been featured in newspapers and interior art design magazines, for example "Hus&Hem" magazine (House&Home, 2023) and "Artmospehere" - The Art Perspective" one of the worlds most established art magazines since thirty years (2024).
